Q: What is the deadline for bcfest 5 submissions?

A: submissions close august 5th 2026. Please don’t be late!

Q: What kinds of bands are you looking for?

a: we are booking predominantly punk bands, but we also like to mix in Hardcore, metal, ska, and little bit of everything. We are promoting artists that are LGBTQIA+, bipoc, fem, and anti fascist. Creating a safe space for artists and their audience is top priority. Racism, or any bigotry of any kind is not welcome here.

Q: How long of a live set can i play?

A: we are asking for a 20-25 minute set. Headliner slots may vary

Q: Do you have a backline of gear? What do i bring?

A: Yes we have a full backline, here is our gear list:

-4 sE electronic v7 vocal mics.

-2 Orange 412 guitar cabs w/ 2 Orange Crush Pro guitar heads.

-Orange 410 bass cab w/ Tiny Terror bass head.

-custom 5 piece Öqvistdrumkit. STANDS ARE available but you need to bring your own cymbals and a kick pedal.

-guitars, basses, and other instruments will not be provided outside of this gear list.

Q: CAN i get audio, video, or pictures of my live set?

A: Yes of course, we will be recording video highlights of each band but if you would like a full set or a specific song please reach out and we will walk you through the details. We will have at least two photographers that are available upon request.

Q:Where do I stay during the fest?

A: we have a list of hotels that we get a discount with during the festival, we try to keep the hotels as close to the venue as possible. We will forward that info via email when chosen to play. Upon request we also will share our space at bridge city sessions, but it’s rather limited to roughly 5 bands per night.

Q:can I book a session during the weekend of the fest?

A: Yes, we have limited time before each day of the fest. we have to start early to make sure we make it to the venue in time for load in and sound check. Make sure to send us an email to nail the details. We do charge for sessions but can work out payment plans.

Q:Will I get paid for performing?

A: Yes, each band chosen to play will be sent an email with a guarantee and all other accommodations. Payouts will be dispersed the day of your performance.

Q:I’m playing but want to stay for the rest of the fest, is there a place to store gear or personal belongings on the days I’m not performing?

A: yes, we have our bridge city sessions studio that we can safely store your personal items at any time during the fest. We’d rather you have piece of mind that your things are safe and that your car/van won’t be broken into.

Q:since I’m performing, do I get a guest list?

A: sadly we can’t offer a guest list. We want to make sure bands get paid and if 30-40 bands all had a guest list that could really hurt ticket sales. We have to pay the bands, venues, staff, and all the other expenses that come with booking a 3 day event.

Q:Can I bring my own personal photographer/videographer?

A: Yes. We are totally open to you bringing in a personal photographer. We will send you specific details on how that works so our event photographers and yours are on the same page. Just let us know.

Q: I see you have a printshop at bridge city sessions, can I order Merch to sell at the fest?

A: Yes, we can make anything your band needs. Shirts, hoodies, hats, tote bags, koozies etc. We can also work out payment plans or other arrangements for bands playing the fest. Just give us a shout.
